Through humor they will offer tips for incorporating flavanol rich food into your daily diet.
10:45: Calming Inflammation with Nutrition-Diets packed with sugar, white flour and fatty foods can leave our arteries inflamed. Registered Dietitian with the Avera Heart Hospital Joanne Shearer will teach you how to calm this inner fire by adding just a few flavor-packer superfoods to your diet.
10:00: Efficient Exercise: It’s difficult for today’s busy woman to fit in time for a workout. Avera Fitness Center shows us how to get the most out of our exercise.
10:45: Trying a Triathlon: 69-year-old Howard Bich became a triathlete later in life. He tells us what inspired him and how to become triathletes ourselves!

10:00: Calcium-Know Your Score for Heart Health-Many hospitals are offering calcium scoring to help determine a patient’s risk of heart disease, but what is this new tool? Registered Nurse, Jean Skonhovd from the Avera Heart Hospital will explain calcium scoring and give tips that every woman should know to protect her heart.
10:45: Laughter Yoga: Laughter Yoga from the Dharma Room uses simple laughter exercises in a group combined with gentle yoga breathing as a form of stress management and physical fitness.
