Message From Amy Gray Ellingson
Go Red For Women has the incredible mission of helping women reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke, the #1 killers of women in the U.S.. Last year was the first year Go Red had a presence in the Brainerd Lakes Area with a fundraising luncheon, and I was inspired by how empowered women were when it came to loving their hearts and reducing their risks. The biggest theme I noticed in my conversations with attendees was the desire for education, so we are back for our second year, and we hope to reach even more women than before. It is through education and awareness that change occurs, so please join us February 25th at Grand View Lodge in our fight to make the Brainerd Lakes Area a stronger, heart-healthier community.
